Testimonials

At Vital there are many success stories.  Here is what a few of our clients have to say....

I was always convinced personal trainers were only designed for fit trim buff people with lots of muscles.  This is the main reason I was so hesitant about stepping foot in a gym.  Also for the fear of judgement and the mindset that I was simply to unfit to workout.  However these fears were soon a distant memory once I met Sean.  He made me feel so welcome and have helped me completely change my life.

I am now fitter, healthier and stronger than I have ever been.  Each gym session I can feel my body changing.  I have muscles growing where I have never seen them before and my body is changing before my eyes.

Walking into Vital for the first time was the hardest step, but after only a few moments talking to Sean I knew that I had found my saviour and since that day I have never looked back.

I attend 3 nights per week after work, follow the Vital diet and my body, skin and nails have never been better.  I also completed 6 weeks of Vital Boot Camp which saw me increase fitness levels and run for longer periods of time, where previously running was something I could only dream of.

My advice for anyone looking to lose weight or tone up is to take that first step because I am living proof that people can change both habits and body shape.  I cannot imagine my life without Vital, my trainer and all that attend Vital are fantastic, friendly, welcoming and just great fun to be around.  The exercise has become addictive, something I thought was just a myth and I look forward to each session because I know next time I get on the scales or try on new clothes the influence of Vital is obvious.

I owe Sean so much for everything he has done for me and for the changes that have happened in my body and mind, but also for the long-term health benefits that exercise has brought to me.

When I first started working out at Vital Health Studio, I didn't know what to expect.  I had worked out at gyms before but never acheived what I have at Vital.  Working with Sean, I have been pushed to do more with my body than ever before.  He pushes me to my absolute limit, which is not what I would do at the gym by myself.

Being trained by a Champion bodybulider is enough proof for me to have confidence in what he is teaching me when it comes to exercise and diet.  Not only am I lifting more weight than ever, my endurance has increased as well.  In the first 3 months working out 3 x 1 hour sessions per week, I went from a size 36 pant down to 32 and lost 8.5 kilos.

My body is the best it has ever been.  I only wish I had this body when I was younger.

As cliche as it sounds, 4 months ago I made a decision that has changed my life.

I was never that fat guy, but I never felt athletic either.  I guess you could call me Mr. Average.  I felt I was in reasonable shape, felt I ate OK and was reasonably fit....How my thoughts have changed!

I found an advertisement for the Vital Health Studio 12 week Challenge in late September while eating chicken nuggets at McDonalds.  My job as a sales rep saw me eating on the run and driving a lot.  My pant size was beginning to reflect that lifestyle.  I felt tired, run down and just very blah!  I had a gym membership at a local health centre.  On paper the gym had everything you would think I needed.  It was new and shiny and look exciting.  Well it did the 6 times I bothered going.  It was the most expensive plastic membership card I have ever purchased.

I needed something tailored for me, someone to make me accountable.  When I saw the advert for personal training I joked to my firend Rachel "lets give it a go".

I went in and met Sean and after my fitness testing and training was embarrassed where I ended up.  I was heavy and out of shape and saw on paper WHO I was.  I didn't like it.  I started training 2 then 3 days a week.  I felt weak and exhausted and wondered if it was ever going to get better?  The weeks passed and I actually started enjoying it.  I was eating better, I was sleeping better, I was less stressed and started seeing the old me again.  The weight was dropping off and I was eager for my next training session.

Could it be I had turned into "one of those" people who actually liked exercise!?!

My trainer and my exercise colleagues at Vital have now become good friends of mine.  We are supportive of each other and there is a bond between us.  It's a nice feeling knowing you aren't doing this alone.  It's great seeing new people join.  You watch their exhausted faces as they leave wondering what they are doing......that was me a few months ago.  Then like clockwork you can see them change, they become confident, strong and happy.

The results I'm seeing push me through the pain.  12 kilos lost to date and now a size 32" pants.

So 4 months on I'm now training 4-5 days per week plus Saturday morning Boot Camp is fantastic! I'm stronger, faster and fitter.  The money I wasted on junkfood I now spend on training.  I'm investing in a fitter new me and I think I'm worth it.

So to the people who have paid for countless exercise machines and gym memberships that they rarely use, STOP!! I was once YOU! Give yourself 12 weeks at Vital Health Studio and your results will speak for themsleves.

We all deserve to be the best US we can be...Just try it.

I was born in 1957 with a congenital heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which was surgically repaired in 1972.  In 1979 I began having cardiac ectopic (irregular heart beats) and in November of that year I suffered my first cardiac arrest and then in 1985 I suffered my second and third cardiac arrests.  In 1988 I had my first cardiac defibrillator implanted and my fourth cardiac arrest.  In 1989 I married and gave birth to two wonderful children, John in 1989 and Emily in 1994.

Sometime in 1999 I suffered a very mild stroke this one rendering me paralysed down my left side.  My body was not working very well for me now as I had no strength and my cardiologist, Dr. James Leach, realised that I needed to have a Pulmonary artery replacement.   I had this operation in 2005 and age 48 which gave me back the inner strength to be able to combat my body weakness brought about by the stroke.

Now I only needed to get the left side of my body working properly again by building some muscle and retraining my nerve pathways.

In 2007, after reading a magazine article by Sean Crossan, I decided to ge the OK from my doctor to attend Vital.  I thought this looked like the kind of gym I was looking for and after only one hour a week for nearly two years now, my stamina has increased.  I can, with only a little concentration, now close my left hand and am also walking (with only a slight limp) 2kms in 25 minutes on the treadmill.  My overall health has done a 360 degree turnaround thanks to the professionalism of Sean Crossan at Vital Health Studio.

So if your health is falling to pieces like mine was, get up and get going to Vital Health Studio, Kotara.  Thank you Sean.
